These people seem very cheesy.......but they are onto a great idea!
Have you heard about the purple bracelet people?
"Begin to wear the bracelet, on either wrist.
When you catch yourself complaining, gossiping or criticizing (it’s ok, everyone does) move the bracelet to the other arm and begin again.
If you hear someone else who is wearing a bracelet complain, you may point out their need to switch the bracelet to the other arm; BUT if you’re going to do this, you must move your bracelet first!
Stay with it. It may take many months but when you reach 21 days you will find that your entire life is happier, more loving and more enjoyable."
“Complaining is not to be confused with informing someone of a mistake or deficiency so that it can be put right. And to refrain from complaining doesn’t necessarily mean putting up with bad quality or behavior. There is no ego in telling the waiter your soup is cold and needs to be heated up—if you stick to the facts, which are always neutral. ‘How dare you serve me cold soup…?’ That’s complaining.”
—Eckhart Tolle, “A New Earth”
Here's some soda bread for your head, whether ya be Irish or Irish American!
And for those who listened to coworkers watered down Irish rock and contemporary Celtic swag all day.....
It's a good day to keep less than 7 foam rings on your pint o' Vitamin G!
May your pocket always hold a coin or two....and your home be filled with the sound of children's laughter!

It is Town Meeting Day in Vermont.
I took my seven week old baby girl into the polls today, as I am on day seven of my paternity leave.
The women who handed me my Presidential Ballot said "I hope there is something left to vote for when she's 18."
"I'm hoping to do something about that right now." I replied.
In the booth I filled in the box for Barac Obama, who has banked his last five years on change for my sake.
As I voted YES or NO on local expenditure line items, I used the new found scrutiny instilled in my by Dr. Ron Paul; a man who has dedicated over twenty years to protecting the original intent of our Founding Fathers, for limited Government and personal freedom.
It was in this booth, while writing in my own name for seven positions (since no one was running for them) that I realized, these two men have inspired me to do something in my community. I need to unite like minded young people to take over the civic duties that made our state famous for it's more direct form of Democracy.
Serendipity would have it that a sixth grader named Emily came on the Village School P.A. to lead her classmates (and voters) in the Pledge of Allegiance. I was very taken back.
It was then that my little future of America became the proverbial "crying baby at town meeting".
I put a ten dollar bill in the hand of a young boy raising money for a trip to Washington D.C. this spring. All I asked in return was a giant nobake.
I am so proud to live in this great State and Nation.
There will be more to come on my simple plan to inspire.
UNITED WE STAND!
I have sent Barac Obama's campaign the amount of money I would usually spend on beer for the next two moons!
For those of you who know me......you realize that Otter Creek and Genesee will be laying off a worker or two 'till trout season........but it's all in support of restoring this once great Republic!
I recomend getting stickers.signs, pins seperate to donations, due to very long waits....that could extend past VTs primary. cafepress.com
Open up your wallets folks....I want to see Hillary cry again, into her carpet bag she carries her ego around in.
To help this or other candidates, your vote alone is not enough this year.
Send 'em the $100 you would spend on beer this month, bring back your bottles, Sell that old air hockey table! Get a bumper stiker. Wear a pin. Sign up to distribute lawn signs..........this is our last crack at rescuing this falling republic!
CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF FEB. 5th IS NOT A NATIONAL PRIMARY.......AND THE POINT OF THE PRIMARY IS NOT TO VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE WHO IS AHEAD......BUT THE ONE YOU SUPPORT!
THE RACE WILL NOT END TUESDAY, AND YOUR CANDIDATE WILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT IN COMING WEEKS!
