UPDATED | Seriously download Z Trip's Obama Mix, like now, my friends.

I spent the top half of the week in the air between VT and Calgary. I must note that LaGuardia sucks while Calgary (the city) was gorgeous. Thankfully, I managed to weasel the Obama Mix onto my iPoO prior to taking flight. While shucked between two overstuffed business weenies as the ignorant woman in front of me slammed my knees with her seatback, I drifted away from reality and into Z-Trip's mix continuously. In fact, even now that I rest in the cozy confines of my poo free house, I am listening to the mix. And you should be as well and all of your friends.

So go download it now and point all your peeps to it as well. Or don't.

I am a particular fan of 47:00 on, which utilizes the Philly race speech backed by a simple beat building in momentum flowing into that "ooo child things are going to get easier" song. Note: I should know the name and artist for "that one", but I don't.

Oh and I dig the mash at 5:50 of Reagan's "government is the problem", Pink Floyd's "Mother should I trust the government", flowing into Public Enemy's "letter from the government" into some song I don't know with the lyrics, "government's taking everything you make" into Rage Against the Machine backing a speech about resisting the injustice done by our government in our names. That is super cool and stuff.

The 47:00 on portion below:

Recently, Shepard Fairey and I threw some fundraisers for the Obama campaign. We called them “The Party for Change”. (If you don't know who Shepard is—among many other things—he is the one responsible for the image on the right).

I've been wanting to put the mix I've been doing at these shows online, in hopes of spreading the word to people who need to hear it most. So, here it is: (zipped vbr mp3 / 84.7 MB)
