Friday Night Lights

I spent the better part of week working around the clock completing a major deliverable. With the completion late Friday night, I drifted off into a self induced staycation. The beauty of these lengthy TV dramas in the interweb age is that you can sit back and completely immerse yourself in the fantasy world.

A year or so ago, I was driving around southern Maine a little bit lost when a piece came on NPR about Friday Night Lights. I had heard about the show previously but had never had the opportunity to check it out. The interview, available here, was engrossing and seriously sparked my interest.

Without access to mainstream TV, I let the desire to check out the show drift from my mind. The interweb has changed everything and with great glee I stumbled upon the first two seasons of Friday Night Lights on Hulu for free. I am thoroughly impressed by the depth and quality of the show and I am completely engrossed now.
